The Austin City Limits Music Festival always brings opportunities for some special taping of the "Austin City Limits" television show at ACL Live, and this year is no exception. Just announced on Monday afternoon are tapings with the Raconteurs on Oct. 3, Rosalía on Oct. 8, and Billie Eilish on Oct. 11.
Eilish, the 17-year-old pop sensation who's among the festival's headliners both weekends, is the biggest score for the show, which is in the midst of its 45th season. The Raconteurs, featuring White Stripes frontman Jack White and rocker Brendan Benson, will be making their second appearance on the show and their first in 13 years. This will be the first "Austin City Limits" taping for Rosalía, a Spanish singer-songwriter who has received wide attention for her 2018 album "El Mal Querer."
Free tickets for each taping will be distributed via the show’s website about a week before the date of each event.
Other previously announced upcoming tapings not connected to the ACL Fest lineup will feature Cage the Elephant on Sept. 27 and Sharon Van Etten on Sept. 30.
