Have you been playing the interactive game "Harry Potter: Wizards Unite" this summer? Similar to "Pokemon Go," it uses your location to complete tasks, fight bad wizards and be immersed in the world of Harry Potter. Players are recruits to the Statue of Secrecy Task Force and have to investigate magical activities and solve mysteries. Along the way, they find mysterious artifacts, cast spells, meet up with the books' iconic characters and encounter fantastic beasts, both the helpful and dangerous kinds.

It's a free download on Google Play and Apple's App Store.

Simon Properties have worked with the game's creator to increase the number of rewards, enemies as well as sponsored inns and fortresses at its locations, which include Barton Creek Square, Lakeline Mall, The Domain, Round Rock Premium Outlets and San Marcos Premium Outlets.

It could be a fun outing to the mall. You shop while the kids cast spells. Magical.
