Hold on to your Stetsons, Central Texas country music fans, Garth Brooks is coming to Gruene Hall. On a quest to find new "Friends in Low Places," the country music superstar has been on a tour of dive bars around the country and the next stop is at the historic Texas dancehall (technically, not really a dive) on Sept. 23.

Brooks has been sharing highlights from the shows on his "Inside Studio G" series which airs on his Facebook page every Monday night at 6 p.m. C.S.T. and on this week's episode, he revealed the next tour stop would be in the Lone Star state. Austin country radio station KVET 98.1 FM announced on Twitter, that the show would be at Gruene Hall.

According to a press release about the event, "the only place that fans can get tickets is through their local country radio stations."
This will be the third stop on Brooks' Dive Bar Tour. The first two took place at Joe's on Weed Street in Chicago in July and Buck Owens' Crystal Palace in Bakersfield, Calif. earlier this month.
As local fans might remember, Brooks is no stranger to smaller Texas venues. While in town to play a free South by Southwest show at Auditorium Shores two years ago, he surprised fans with a St. Patrick's Day set at the Broken Spoke.
