Eso Es, a touring mini-festival featuring Latinx artists who are pushing the boundaries of indie music, is set to hit Mohawk on Aug. 31.

Chill-wave outfit Neon Indian, led by Mexican-born artist Alan Palomo, tops a bill that alsoincludes the dreamy indie-pop of Honduran American artist Lorely Rodriguez, aka Empress Of, and Cuban American rapper La Goony Chonga. Local Selena tribute act Bidi Bidi Banda, Dallas’ Luna Luna and the Peligrosa DJs round out the bill. Beyond music, the event will feature live airbrushing, local vendors, Tex-Mex street food and "a 1990s suburban mall-inspired photo booth."
