Two Austin-area music hotspots were ranked among the top amphitheaters in the word, according to new data from Pollstar Magazine.

The rating is based on the volume of ticket sales between Jan. 1 and Jan. 30. Whitewater Ampitheater in New Braunfels sold 22,691 tickets totaling $1,165,761, and the Austin360 Ampitheater sold 18,849 tickets for a total of $1,139,210.

Five other Texas concert venues made the top-50 list, with Irving's Toyota Music Factory coming in second in the world with more than $4.6 million in ticket sales, exceeded only by the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne, Australia. Other Texas venues on the list include The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands at No. 4 with more than $3.7 million in ticket sales, White Oak Music Hall in Houston at No. 28 and Concrete Street Amphitheater in Corpus Christi at No. 36.
