Sure, we’ve discussed Paramount’s Summer Classic Film Series before (and will again), but have we discussed them in detail? Behold!
Extremely related: Check out our extremely Austin summer movie guide
July 7: the Family Film Festival presents “The Goonies;” the first 100 Goonies through the door will enjoy pizza (courtesy of Austin’s own i Fratelli Pizza) and chocolate golden coins.
Later that day, look for screenings of “Raiders of the Lost Ark” and “The Princess Bride.” Fans of the latter should new and gently used books for our BookSpring book drive. Adults could perhaps enjoy the “Iocane Punch” drink special (Tito’s Texas Vodka, house punch and fresh lime).
July 12: At the screening of Wes Anderson’s debut “Bottle Rocket,” the filmgoer with the best Owen Wilson impression will score free admission for two for a future Summer Classic Film screening.
July 13: The cast of “Napoleon Dynamite” – Jon Heder “Napoleon,” Efren Ramirez “Pedro,” and Jon Gries “Uncle Rico” – will be on hand for a conversation following a screening of the film.
July 14: The return of Martinis and Manicures with “Roman Holiday” (totally stars Audrey Hepburn) and “Mamma Mia” (very much does not) where attendees can *checks notes* get martinis and mini-manicures before the presentations.
