Umlauf After Dark. The Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum is beautiful during the day, but it’s also lovely in a different way in the evening. This monthly event gives you access to the Umlauf after hours. Enjoy a night of live music from Sasha K.A & Friends and drinks from Austin Beerworks, Tito's Handmade Vodka and Wine for the People. The Umlauf will also offer lawn games and food from Garbo's Lobster Truck. It just might feel like Independence Day celebrations have started early. 6 p.m. July 2. Defining Women Dinner at Olamaie. This dinner series celebrates the women of southern food. Each week, the restaurant takes inspiration for the feast from a different seminal, female-written cookbook and highlights a local farm to create a four-course menu with beverage pairings. Olamaie was built as an homage to five generations of Southern women, and the dinner series is an extension of that. Reserve your seat on the restaurant website. 5 to 10 p.m. July 2. $65. 1610 San Antonio St. olamaieaustin.com/events
