Festival de Cumbia en la Capital VI. Cumbia festival season in Austin continues. Over the past decade or so, the folkloric Colombian music has spread through Latin America and around the globe, meshing with hip-hop, reggae, electronica and more to become one of the most dynamic urban music forms in the world. Lala's Little Nugget's Annual Half Christmas Party. Lala's is decked out with holiday decorations year-round, but with six months until Christmas, the North Austin bar is getting extra festive. Drop In at Real Ale. Head to Blanco for Real Ale Brewing's first annual fundraiser in collaboration with the Dripping Springs Skate Park initiative. To get funds for a free regional skate park, the brewery hosts a skateboard art auction. This silent auction will feature boards designed and created by local and national artists, plus dozens of craft breweries including Stone, Sierra Nevada, Jester King, Saint Arnold and more.
