Next month, the popular free concert series programmed by Austin City Limits Radio will feature another local standout, when singer-songwriter Ben Kweller headlines the big stage on July 17. Kweller released his first new music in five years back in February, dropping latest single "Heart Attack Kid." He has a new album, "Circuit to Boredom," due out later this year.
Austin synth-cumbia quartet Como Las Moves will open at Blues on the Green.
The family-friendly concerts start at 8 p.m., but organizers recommend early arrival to secure a good spot to spread out your blanket and set up lawn chairs. Limited parking is available for $15. Parking opens at 6 p.m. and event organizers recommend you purchase a pass online in advance, because it usually sells out. Food and non-alcoholic beverage vendors are will be there for the event.
