With roadside peaches and grocery store peaches and food truck peaches aplenty this year, you might already feel like you're swimming in peaches.
But some of the very best peaches I eat all year come from the Northwest Austin Kiwanis' annual peach fundraiser, which takes place twice every summer.

One grandma’s legacy of peach pies, goulash and community service
Usually, the first delivery of peaches comes in July, but the East Texas freestone peaches they use are ready a few weeks early this year. The peaches are sold in 22-pound boxes and cost $45, with all of the proceeds going to dozens of local charities that the Kiwanis supports each year. Customers can order them online now through June 23 for pick up from 8:30 a.m. to noon on June 29 at Anderson High School.
