England's apocalyptic-pop band Bastille will bring the tour for its upcoming album "Doom Days" to the Austin360 Amphitheater on Oct. 19. Tickets, $29.50-$59.50, go on sale Friday, May 10, via the venue's website, with an artist pre-sale event beginning Friday, May 3 (details on the band's Instagram page).

So named because leader Dan Smith was born on the French holiday of Bastille Day (July 14), Bastille broke out in 2013 with the worldwide smash "Pompeii" from the group's debut album "Bad Blood." The 2016 follow-up "Wild World" was a top-5 album in the U.S. and topped the charts in their home country. "Doom Days" is due out June 14 via Virgin EMI; a video for the title track went up last week on YouTube.

The band has previously played in the Austin area at Emo's, the HEB Center in Cedar Park, and the 2013 South by Southwest festival.
