Tequila (and bourbon and gin) are on the menu at plenty of cocktail bars in downtown Austin, but soon you can find them in baked goods from a new bakery inside Royal Blue Grocery (609 Congress Ave.).

Baked and Boozy, from baking entrepreneur Lacey Pearce, will feature desserts including bourbon pecan pie; chocolate Guinness pie with Bailey’s whipped cream and Jameson caramel drizzle; Mexican hot chocolate with tequila whipped cream; banana bourbon; and margarita Key lime with Cointreau whipped cream.

They'll serve the pies by the slice, but Pearce got her start selling whole pies to friends and neighbors, who rave about them on Facebook. So if you want a whole pie, inquire via the Baked and Boozy Facebook page.

The bakery will open sometime in the next few weeks inside the small, but busy downtown market, according to Eater Austin.
