"Severe Weather Warning." Theatre en Bloc presents the world premiere of this comedy, which explores the ups and downs of lifelong friendship during a much-needed girls' weekend getaway. When the idyllic weekend at the Texas Gulf Coast devolves into a night of drunken chaos inside, with severe weather outside, are the women prepared for the aftermath? Garden to Glass Cocktail Workshop. The Natural Gardener is teaming up with Desert Door Sotol to teach you how to grow your own garden and, from that fresh produce, how to create cocktails. During the one-hour workshop, you'll make three different cocktails using rosemary, mint, basil and chile pequin. "Such Lonely Country" art opening. The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center celebrates the opening of Katy McCarthy's exhibit in the center's McDermott Learning Center. The artist will be present during the opening for questions. She has been closely reading the diaries of early-20th-century botanist Mary Sophie Young, who explored and collected plant specimens around Texas.
