Ilana Glazer, one of the spectacular co-creators/writers/stars of "Broad City," is coming to Austin for two nights of comedy shows this summer presented by Moontower Comedy at the Paramount Theatre. The first show scheduled, June 11, sold out quickly, so the theater on Tuesday added an additional June 10 show. Tickets run $35-$45.
"Broad City" recently completed its fifth and final season. Glazer and co-"Broad" Abbi Jacobson have signed a first-look deal with Comedy Central and Viacom Television networks and currently have two projects already in development at Comedy Central under the new pact, including "Mall Town USA" and "Young Professionals."
On the big screen, Glazer starred opposite Scarlett Johansson in Sony Pictures comedy "Rough Night," directed by Lucia Aniello. Glazer is executive producing the upcoming Warner Bros. and BuzzFeed motion picture "Brother Orange" along with Ellen DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman; the film stars Jim Parsons.
