"The Letters." Street Corner Arts stages John Lowell's thriller set in 1930s Russia, when a casual conversation between Anna and her boss turns out to be much more than that. The meeting quickly turns into a game of cat and mouse in which being the last to flinch may mean the difference between life and death. Who will claim the upper hand — those who suppress the truth or those who will risk everything to suppress it? 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday through April 20. $17-$20. Hyde Park Theater, 511 W. 43rd St. 512-539-8638, streetcornerarts.org/catandmouse.
