If you never expected to see "George Clinton" and "Cedar Park" in the same sentence, surprise: The funk legend will bring his Parliament Funkadelic crew to the HEB Center on Aug. 22.

Tickets, $36.75-$66.75, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 12, via the venue's website.

Also on the bill are Ivan Neville's New Orleans ensemble Dumpstaphunk, California eclectic funk-soul-ska outfit Fishbone and opening act Miss Velvet & the Blue Wolf.

The show, part of the "One Nation Under a Groove" tour, is being billed as Clinton's last with the P-Funk crew, which received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Grammy's this year. Clinton will turn 78 this summer.
