Power for Parkinson's Musical Collage. The locally founded nonprofit hosts a night featuring eight local musicians and bands of varied genres performing one arresting work after another. Music lovers will be captivated by surprising shifts between three different stages to create the collage, according to Power for Parkinson's. "100 Planes." Making its world premiere at Filigree Theatre is a bittersweet comic drama that follows three women as ambition, love and passion collide on a U.S. Air Force Base in Germany. Thinkery21: SuperPowers. Adults will take over Austin's children's museum for another installment of Thinkery21, which will feature an evening of festive cocktails and fantastic costumes. Activities include superhero trivia, listening to "super awesome sounds," and learning about the the 1966 world premiere of the first full-length Batman movie starring Adam West at Austin’s Paramount Theatre. 2019 Austin Cactus & Succulent Society Spring Show & Sale. Plant and pottery vendors from Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma will bring their wares to the Zilker Botanical Garden's Austin Area Garden Center. Nature Fest at Concordia University. The university's unique setting at the edge of the Balcones Canyonlands Preserve offers the perfect environment for its annual Nature Fest. You don't have to be a student to participate in two of the presentations — Sky Kings Falconry on April 9 and Austin Reptile Service snake viewing on April 11 — and take daily guided hikes on varied lengths of the preserve trails.
