Wyclef Jean, Patty Griffin, Steve Earle & the Dukes and Andrew Bird are among more than a dozen artists set to play KUTX’s ninth annual “Live at the Four Seasons” shows. The shows are for the early birds and completely open to the public, with $15 admission ($5 ages 12 and under) including a breakfast taco, granola bar and refillable coffee. Proceeds benefit the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians.

Tony and Pulitzer Prize nominee Anna Deavere Smith wrote and starred in what might be her most poignant project yet, and now Zach Theatre takes it on for a production of its own. "Notes From the Field" brings to life the real-life accounts of people caught in America’s school-to-prison pipeline as they navigate inequities in their communities. The play shines a light on a lost generation of America's young people.
3. ACL Radio Live at the W

The station formerly known as KGSR returns to the W Austin for four days of early morning broadcasts during SXSW. The lineup features a nice balance of heavy-hitting radio faves and up-and-coming artists, including X Ambassadors, Patty Griffin, Strumbellas, Steve Earle, the Get Up Kids, Hayes Carll, Australian sensation Dean Lewis, Robert Ellis and Morgxn. The lineup also features some Austin talent, including Bob Schneider, Jamestown Revival and Walker Lukens. The intimate shows are open to the public with a donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
4. Austin Cheese Co.'s Intro to Cheese

The new cheese shop that opened in the Arboretum area hosts its first class, an interactive cheese tasting that walks guests through the basics of cheese. Learn about the different types of cheeses by one of the experienced cheesemongers. The session will let the attendees taste their way through milk types, aging lengths and other important characteristics of each cheese. Wine & beer is available for purchase by the glass or bottle.
