More than just a boil: This festival celebrates two springtime essentials, with both crawfish and beer highlighted at this two-day event. More than 10,000 pounds of fresh Louisiana-grown crawfish is arriving in Central Texas to provide good old-fashioned Southern fun. Plus, local and regional breweries will provide you beer by the pitcher, and there will be live music, bounce houses and garden games. VIP tickets give you access to all-you-can-eat crawfish and a special area to hang out.

Kick off rosé season with Austin's very own rosé from local winemaker Rae Wilson, and don your dandiest to enjoy a toast of the new 2018 Dandy Rosé, as well as live music, Garbo's lobster rolls, special video screenings and more. Dandy Rosé is a dry rosé always made from 100 percent Texas-grown grapes, and last year's vintage was named one of the top rosés of 2017 by Texas Monthly and Texas Wine Journal.
3. "Murder by Natural Causes" at Sam Bass Theatre

Sam Bass Theatre produces the suspenseful Tim Kelly play about Arthur Sinclair, a world-famous mentalist, and his greedy wife, Allison. While Arthur performs his act on "The Tonight Show," his wife prowls the study of their stylish Beverly Hills home, conspiring with a struggling young actor to murder Arthur and claim his fortune. Her foolproof plan couldn't possibly misfire because it's too skillfully inventive — or could it? Nothing is as it seems in this exciting mystery.
4. Rodeo Austin's Cowboy Breakfast

Rodeo Austin kicks off the same way every year: with a super-size Texas breakfast.
