There’s a new spot to take in views of Lady Bird Lake and spectacular sunsets. Oh yeah, and there’s food and drink, as well. The Line hotel at East Cesar Chavez Street and Congress Avenue opens its rooftop lounge, P6, on Friday.

P6 features a menu of Mediterranean-inspired small plates like lamba tartare, tuna crudo and confit garbanzo bean dip. The beverage menu includes Old and New World wines, interesting beers, a list of cordials and complex craft cocktails designed by the Line’s Brian FLoyd (formerly of Weather Up).

The prolific and respected Michael Hsu conceived the architecture for the indoor-outdoor space that features a wrap-around terrace and fireplace. P6, which is located on the former rooftop deck of the hotel’s parking garage, from whence it takes its name, will be open Thursday and Friday from 4 to 11 p.m., Saturday from noon to midnight, and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. P6 joins fellow Line hotel food-and-beverage concepts Arlo Grey from "Top Chef" winner Kristen Kish and burger and cocktail bar Dean's One Trick Pony.
