Fresh off being voted Best Live Music Venue at the Austin Music Industry Awards earlier this week, ACL Live has announced a slew of upcoming shows on tap for this spring and summer: classic rockers Chicago, soul-funk sensation Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Matchbox Twenty frontman Rob Thomas, Broadway star Ben Platt, rapper Juice Wrld, Welsh singer-songwriter Marina, and a double bill featuring rootsy punkers the Violent Femmes and X.
Tickets for Trombone Shorty (May 10, $40-$50), Platt (May 18, $35-$125), Juice Wrld (June 7, $49.50-$59.50), Chicago (July 6, $70-$111) and Marina (Sept. 28, $35-$65) go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb, 22, via the venue's website. Tickets for Violent Femmes/X (May 9. $44.50-$59.50) go on sale at noon Friday, Feb. 22. Tickets for Thomas (June 25, $52.50-$143.50) go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 1.
Also going on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, is a 40th-anniversary benefit show for Any Baby Can, which guides parents in building confidence, nurturing relationships, and planning for the future, featuring local luminaries Shinyribs and Charley Crockett (May 3, $34.50-$49.50).
