Fusebox Festival, which annually makes Austin the fiery hot center of cutting-edge art over the course of five days, has announced its lineup for April 16-21.

Since the more than 40 performances, events, conversations, meals and installations include a full catalogue of artistic activities, we sought, with the help of fest guru Ron Berry, six that might well stand out.

Remember, every event is free. Reservations can be made for many events in advance on the fest website.
