Fresh off Beck's Grammy win Sunday for Best Alternative Music Album comes word that he'll perform July 26 at the Austin360 Amphitheater, co-headlining a bill with acclaimed rockers Cage the Elephant. Austin indie mainstay Spoon also joins the bill, along with opening act Wild Belle.
Tickets, $29.50-$130.50, go on sale at noon Friday, Feb. 15, via the venue's website. The site also includes details about access to a 10 a.m. Thursday presale opportunity.
"Colors" also won the Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical category yesterday, marking the sixth and seventh Grammy wins of Beck's nearly three-decade career as a recording artist. He's appeared twice on the "Austin City Limits" television program, including an hourlong episode that kicked off the show's 40th season in 2014.
Cage the Elephant won over crowds at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in 2016 when touring behind their fourth album, "Tell Me I'm Pretty." Their next album, "Social Cues," is due out April 19 on RCA Records.
Spoon gradually rose from playing Austin clubs in the mid-1990s to become one of indie music's most celebrated bands. They played ACL Fest in 2017 after the release of "Hot Thoughts," their ninth album.
Wild Belle is the Chicago duo of siblings Elliot and Natalie Bergman. They've issued two albums on Columbia Records; their next release, "Everybody One of a Kind," is due out in March.
