This boozy, meaty dinner is a celebration of Garrison Brothers Distillery's philosophy that good bourbon can change the world. Founder Dan Garrison will be in attendance to give the Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation a check for funds Garrison Brothers raised to restore Balmorhea State Park. Each of the dishes in the four-course dinner at Fairmont Austin's steakhouse will be served alongside cocktails and neat pours designed to complement the food.

Everyone’s favorite Contessa is coming to Austin for one night only. Garten will talk about her latest book, “Cook Like a Pro,” her long career in food and, of course, her beloved husband, Jeffrey, whom she frequently references in her cooking shows. “Barefoot Contessa Back to Basics” is now in its 13th season on the Food Network. 3. Umlauf After Dark

The after-hours event at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum returns in 2019 with a live music performance. Listen to local musician Sydney Wright while free Lagunitas beer, art activities, a signature Tito's Vodka cocktail, delicious food from the Texas Chili Queens, and — of course — the gorgeous on-site garden and gallery. Umlauf After Dark is a monthly event that gives art lovers a special glimpse of the scenic garden as the sun sets.

Eat, drink and be merry while 100 percent of the proceeds from this event go toward a good cause: the Lone Star Paralysis Foundation. Held on the patio of the Oak Hill location, the feast features a delicious spread of food alongside specialty cocktails, beer and wine from local purveyors, including Tito’s Vodka, Becker Vineyards and Thirsty Planet Brewing. Live tunes from Duane & the Hipsters will keep you dancing all night long, too.
