A few days after America's favorite preppy popsters, Vampire Weekend, released their first new songs in six years, the band announced plans for a North American tour.

The tour, dubbed Father of the Bride and supporting the band's new album of the same name, kicks off in May, but it won't hit Austin until late summer. The band will swing into town for a two-night stand at ACL Live on August 20-21. After a hiatus of several years, the band reemerged on the festival circuit last year, but this will be their first Austin performance since 2014.

Tickets to the show go on sale to the general public on Friday, Feb. 8 at noon, but there's a verified fan presale that begins on Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. More information.
