Italic, the downtown Italian restaurant helmed by chef Drew Curren, is opening a location at Fareground, the food hall operated by Italic's parent company, the Elm Restaurant Group. The new spot, which takes the place of the recently shuttered Antonelli's, will serve pastas, salads and sandwiches, such as penne rigate Bolognese, yellowfin tuna-stuffed peppers, and tomato and mozzarella on ciabatta. Italic at Fareground, which opens January 12, will be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
