The McGuire Moorman Hospitality group purchased the former Sweetish Hill last year and have converted it to a modern bakery, deli and cafe renamed Swedish Hill (1120 W. Sixth St.).

While the juggernaut hospitality company behind Perla’s, Clark’s, June’s All Day and others doesn’t quite have their bakery ready for daily operations, they are holding weekend bake sales to show off some of their new goods.

The run of backdoor bake sales continues Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon, when Swedish Hill be selling bread (country loaf, $6; seeded whole wheat country loaf, $7); bagels (plain, everything, sesame and more for $2); pastries (kouign amann, $5; lime and ginger teak cake, $3); cookies ($3-$5), croissants ($3-$6) and focaccia bread ($3).

MMH has not yet announced when Swedish Hill will open for regular hours to the public.
