There’s a new option for getting your dumpling fix in Austin. Sweet Chive restaurant, which opened around Christmas at 2515 E. Cesar Chavez St., specializes in Manchurian and Taiwanese home cooking.

As the name would indicate, diners can expect an assortment of dumplings (sweet chives can be found in a range of the doughy pouches that come fried, boiled and steamed), along with dishes like Szechuan bon bon chicken, scallion pancakes and an array of noodles.

According to the restaurant’s Facebook page, Sweet Chive is softly open for now, serving lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday-Monday.
