Austin has multiple holiday shopping destinations every year, and Armadillo is one of the best. The one-stop shop for handmade gifts features performances by live music acts such as Dale Watson, performing on opening day, and Tomar and the FCs. This year, the bazaar has also selected 12 local nonprofits for its 12 Days of Giving initiative, with each one getting a portion of the day's proceeds. The nonprofits include the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians — the opening day recipient — as well as Zach Theatre and Black Fret. Items on sale range from jewelry to artisan chocolate.
