Ugly Christmas Sweater Making Party. You're going to many Ugly Christmas Sweater parties this holiday season, but do you actually have a proper tacky sweater? Meet the Maker at Jack Allen's Kitchen. The fifth installment in Jack Allen's Meet the Maker series celebrates local distillery Treaty Oak Distilling. An indie-pop singer-songwriter who creates keyboard-loop soundscapes to support her striking lead vocals, Wright created an arresting and ambitious album with “Seiche,” released earlier this month. Luminations at the Wildflower Center. The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center's naturally magical winter event returns, lighting up the gardens with thousands of luminarias. This year’s Luminations features performances from Austin aerial dance group Blue Lapis Light. This enchanting site work, “Oneness of Being,” has been choreographed specifically for the Wildflower Center.
