Blue Genie Art Bazaar. Want to give something unique to your loved ones this year? Blue Genie, the annual four-week holiday art and shopping depot, is back, featuring thousands of one-of-a-kind gifts by more than 200 artisans. Each year, the bazaar honors its commitment to giving back with Make-A-Wish Mondays, when 10 percent of that day's profits are donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central & South Texas. Holiday Window Walk. Students from St. Edward’s University decorate store windows along Second Street to compete for $6,500 worth of scholarships. Participating stores include Toy Joy, Austin General Store and Luxe Apothetique. Visitors can cast their vote for their favorite on the Second Street District Facebook page starting Nov. 26. Santa's Wonderland at Hill Country Galleria. The Hill Country Galleria is introducing Santa's Wonderland, a magical and immersive indoor experience that will be open for a month during the holiday season. The free, interactive installation offers several photo ops and selfie spots throughout. There will be a professional photo team on-site to capture memories with Santa, with photo package options available for purchase. "Tale of Two Titans" with the Austin Symphony. The Austin Symphony performs pieces from two titans from the Romantic Period, Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms. But first, the program will begin with a piece from an Austin Symphony Sarah and Ernest Butler Texas Young Composers Competition winner, Paul Novak. His piece "On Buoyancy" was the winner from the 2017 competition.
