There’s a new player in Austin’s brunch game.
After thrilling diners over the summer and fall with its excellent dinner service, East Austin Mexican restaurant Suerte is introducing every Austinite’s favorite meal: brunch. And not just Sunday brunch, but Saturday and Sunday.
Suerte begins brunch this Saturday and will offer serving Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The menu includes Mexican pastries, tacos, egg dishes and more.
“Even before we opened for dinner, I’ve always thought that Suerte brunch was going to be a lot of fun,” owner Sam Hellman-Mass said. “Mexican food is kind of cheating for brunch because it’s just so good—warm corn tortillas, salsa, eggs and maybe something sweet. We’ll have freshly brewed hot coffee to wake you up, micheladas and mid-morning cocktails to cure your hangover, and as Fermin always says, ‘Lots of good vibes.’”
