Trail of Lights at Emily Ann Theatre. Walk through this lighted trail. Free; donations appreciated. 6-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 6-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Nov. 24-Dec. 28. 1101 Ranch Road 2325, Wimberley. emilyann.org

Winter Wonderland at Circuit of the Americas. Look for a Chinese Lantern Festival, a tunnel of lights, an outdoor skating rink, the North Pole and Santa's Workshop, singing trees, carnival rides, a petting zoo and live music. Tickets start at $16, with some activities costing extra; ages 5 and younger get in free. 6-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 6-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday — including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day — Nov. 23 to Dec. 30. Austin Trail of Lights. Zilker Park turns into a lighted trail. This year, the trail adds a lighted carriage, 12 lighted guitars and a 25-foot spiral holiday tree. 7-10 p.m. Dec. 10-23 in Zilker Park. Free Dec. 10-13, 17-19; $3 other nights; children younger than 12 are free. austintrailoflights.org

Holiday Stroll. Walk along the downtown streets, see the lighting of the tree downtown, sing-along with John Aielli and Elizabeth McQueen and get your pictures taken with Santa. 5-10 p.m. Dec. 1. Downtown on Congress between Ninth and 11th Streets. downtownaustin.com

Santa on the Terrace. Visit with Santa and take a picture with Austin as your backdrop. Free. 9 a.m. Dec. 1. Long Center. 701 Riverside Drive. thelongcenter.org

Hill Country Galleria Tree Lighting. Santa comes to the Galleria at 6 p.m. Nov. 23 followed by the tree lighting and activities for kids. Then every night from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. the Galleria's holiday tree light show will play every half-hour. Santa will be available for photo-ops noon to 8 p.m. Nov. 24-25, and 4-7 p.m. Nov. 26-30. Chuy’s Children Giving to Children Parade. The parade returns the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Free. 11 a.m. Nov. 24. Bring an unwrapped new toy to donate to Operation Blue Santa while you see the floats go by. chuysparade.com

Santa on the Square. The City of Kyle lights its tree and Santa visits City Square Park and Krug Activity Center. 4:30-9 p.m. Nov. 28. 101 S. Burleson St., Kyle.

Holiday Launch Party. Face painting, balloon twisting, games, Springfree Trampoline jumping and more. 4-6 p.m. Nov. 17. Free. Domain, on the Lawn near iPic Theaters. Plus at 6 p.m. the first light show of the season will be at Dillard's. simon.com

Visit with Santa. Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa brings a Texas-twist to Santa's arrival with a Texas longhorn pulling his sleigh. Teddy Bear Teas. Bring a new teddy bear to donate to Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas.
