It seems like the gates just closed on Austin City Limits Festival 2018, but festival organizers are wasting no time gearing up for the next go round.
A limited number of three-day tickets to ACL Fest 2019 were released on Thursday. The first round of general admission passes to the festival, which is scheduled to go down Oct. 4-6 and Oct. 11-13, will set you back $255, which is the same price three-day passes were leading up to the festival this year.
For 2019, festival organizers are introducing a new tier of ticketing dubbed GA+. The upgraded passes cost $425 which buys you access to shade and seating in a private lounge with air-conditioned restrooms and complimentary water and soft drinks. There will also be a full-service cash bar with beer, wine and cocktails, food for purchase and a jumbo screen with live streaming from the main stages in the GA+ lounge.
The early bird tickets include free shipping and a free collectible credential and organizers say this is the "lowest possible price" for 2019 passes. It's going to be a minute before we know who's playing the festival though. The ACL Fest lineup generally comes out in May.
