Austin has no shortage of craft beer-related events to attend, but this weekend in particular seems full of them. You won't be able to attend all of them, of course, so use this small guide to help you decide which one is your best bet.

Founders Chalkboard Series at Yard House

One of the most sought-after barrel-aged beers in the country, Founders Brewing's Canadian Breakfast Stout is just one of the Michigan brewery's small-batch options pouring at the Domain bar starting at 11 a.m. on Friday. Others tapping at Yard House include Barrel Runner, an rum barrel-aged imperial IPA, and Curmudgeon's Better Half, an old ale brewed with molasses and aged in maple syrup and bourbon barrels. These will go fast, so visit sometime this weekend.

4th Tap Anniversary Party

What won't this birthday bash have? The North Austin brewery is bringing some of its favorite local artists and brands to the taproom to celebrate, including Party World Rasslin', the Hot Box Diner and Garbo's Lobster food trucks, the Brian Wolff Duo and more. 4th Tap is also not holding back when it comes to the beer list and will have five special releases in addition to mainstays. One of the special brews is the Brut of all Evil, an El Dorado and Azacca-hopped brut IPA. It's the latest example of a new, super dry IPA style.

"We are really excited about the Brut of all Evil," in particular, 4th Tap co-founder John Stecker said. "We've been R&Ding this one for over 6 months. We obviously are not first to make one here in Austin, but we spent the time to really get this one right."

Taste that one, along with limited options like the Beyond Thunderbolt, a 2017 barrel-aged sour, at the all-day Saturday party.

(512) Brewing's Decade of Draft Party

It's been 10 years of mostly draft-only brewery (512), which is celebrating with a rain-or-shine anniversary party on Saturday. Expect plenty of beer options, live music and food trucks — and revelry, of course. (512)'s infamous firkin row is back with one-of-a-kind versions of beloved brews. Musical acts that include Boss Street, the Haberdashers, and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades will perform. Dogs are allowed on leash. Get your $15 tickets via Eventbrite.

Southern Heights' One-Year Anniversary Party

After a single year in business, this East Austin brewery has already been making waves for its specialty style: hazy, juicy IPAs with quirky names. The afternoon affair celebrating Southern Heights' birthday from 1 to 7 p.m. on Saturday will tap three new brews, offer two can releases and have food from Kick Drum Burgers and Republic Donuts. Plus, roots and reggae band Cornerstone performs at 3 p.m.

Hold Out Brewing Beer Tasting & Kitchen Takeover

Want a first taste of one of Austin's most promising upcoming breweries? The hangar across from Better Half Coffee & Cocktails is opening as sibling business Hold Out sometime early next year. Get an early taste of what's to come next door at Better Half on Saturday evening, when there will be a few of Hold Out's upcoming beers on tap, as well as burgers, swag and even a playlist, starting at 6 p.m.

You know both the food and drink are going to be good: Brent “Schmitty” Sapstead, longtime head brewer and production manager at Real Ale Brewing Company, has been tapped to lead the beer program, while Rich Reimbolt, chef de cuisine of Austin’s Jeffrey’s and Josephine House restaurants, is in charge of the food.
