Texas may have lost its winning streak last weekend, but the Longhorns will be back in action at home this Saturday, and that means a new Longhorn City Limits pregame concert. Austin troubadour Hayes Carll will perform from 12:45 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the LBJ Library Lawn adjacent to Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, leading up to the Horns' 2:30 p.m. kickoff against West Virginia.
The music is free, with food and beverages available for purchase at booths on the lawn. The music begins at 11:15 a.m. with an hourlong set from Lubbock red-dirt country-rocker Dalton Domino.
Longhorn City Limits is a new addition to UT's pregame football festivities this year. Previous performers have included Jimmie Vaughan, the Old 97's and Aloe Blacc.
