It's officially pumpkin patch season, but recent rains and inclement weather have put a damper on some of the festivities. Here's the latest on what's open and what's not:
Sweet Berry Farm: The Candy Corn Maze, sand art, paint a pumpkin and Berry Bounce at this Marble Falls farm are open Thursday. Flowers, hayride, barrel train and Texas Maze are closed. Find the latest updates at Sweet Berry Farm's Facebook page, facebook.com/MFallsTx.
Barton Hill Farms: This Bastrop farm is closed this weekend (Oct. 20-21) "due to an abundance of caution and possible flooding," the website states, and hopes to reopen Oct. 27. Check back for updates at bartonhillfarms.com.
Evergreen Farms: As of Thursday afternoon, this Elgin farm plans to be open for its Pumpkin Hunt this weekend from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 1-5 p.m. on Sunday. Check back for updates at evergreen-farms.com.
