While Sir Paul took the big stage at Austin City Limits Festival on many fest-goers flocked to the skyline stage to catch his epic set, but other fans ran in the opposite direction to catch some vibes with electronic music duo, Odesza.

Odesza’s crowd was young, colorful and probably much glitterier than Sir Paul’s.

“They’re really fun. They’re dancey. I love to dance. That’s kind of why I’m here,” 24-year-old Chloe Olson, who came in from San Angelo said.

“I just like Odesza, I’m a big EDM fan and they fall into that category,” 20-year-old Ethan Elkins said.

“I love the way that I feel when I listen to their music. It kind of calms me,” said 21-year-old Alexis Skidmore, who described herself as a huge Odesza fan.

Odesza was scheduled to play from 7:35 to 8:50 p.m., which gave fans the opportunity to catch both acts. Many of the Odesza fans planned to do just that, but these three were largely Beatle-indifferent.

“(McCartney) is a legend, but I do love Odesza,” Olson said. She's seen the group five times. “I listen to them probably more than I listen to Paul McCartney.”

“I’m not too worried (about missing McCartney). I like EDM more,” said Elkins.

And Skidmore wasn’t even a little bit concerned about missing Sir Paul.

“I love Odesza, they’re my favorite,” she said.
