You can take a tour of the medieval South Austin home fit for a king

Remember that really cool medieval mansion in South Austin that straight up looks like something out of a “Game of Thrones” episode?

Yeah, the one with custom stained glass, a royal purple dining room and secret gardens around every corner.

Well, you can now get a look inside the multi-million-dollar home without shelling out big bucks to call it home. Austin’s Weird Homes Tour is presenting a special event Saturday to benefit victims of Hurricane Harvey. For a $20 ticket, you’ll be able to take a tour of the home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, followed by drinks and a silent auction. All proceeds will benefit the Houston Mayor’s Fund, and it’s the only time the home has ever been open to the public. You can buy tickets to the event here.

And yes, if you’re interested, the house is still for sale. It’s even dropped in price -- you can have year-round Renaissance fairs and “Game of Thrones” watch parties in the five-bedroom, four-bathroom mansion for a cool $1.8 million.
