Iron Works BBQ offering free lunch to police officers, FBI and ATF agents after Austin bombings

In honor of law enforcement’s work to catch the suspect behind a string of bombings in the Austin area in March, a downtown barbecue joint is offering free meals to officers and agents on Wednesday.

Iron Works BBQ, located at the corner of Red River and Cesar Chavez streets, announced on Twitter that it would offer free lunch to all on-duty police officers, FBI and ATF agents on Wednesday.

On March 20, 2018, investigators, including FBI officers, roped off a FedEX Office store located in the Southwest Austin suburb of Sunset Valley. Sunset Valley police think that a package that exploded early Tuesday at a FedEx sorting facility in Schertz may have been shipped from this FedEx Office location.
