Ludacris, Schoolboy Q to play Doritos stage on Saturday

As we learned a couple weeks ago, Lady Gaga will not be playing the giant Doritos machine in the Carmelo’s parking lot during SXSW. Instead the pop superstar will be playing Stubb’s on Thursday night. She’ll also deliver the SXSW keynote address on Friday morning.

Turns out Ludacris will be serving up beats and rhymes on Saturday night. The Atlanta rapper leads a lineup that also features Black Hippy collective member Schoolboy Q, Kid Ink, Young Fathers and Lil Dicky. The only artist on the list for Friday right now is Dub Fx. Worth noting that a highly probable Miley Cyrus appearance still has not materialized on the SXSW schedule. The pop star and her tongue are currently on tour in Texas with Sky Ferreira and Icona Pop. They will be in Dallas on Wednesday, Tulsa on Thursday and San Antonio on Saturday.

A couple dates at Emo’s have also cropped up. On Thursday, the surprisingly warm and wonderful Odd Future r&b side project The Internet plays the venue on a hip-hop bill that also includes Chicago upstart Vic Mensa. On Friday, the venue will feature a mix of hip-hop and electronic music with a bill that includes rapper Future and electronic music producer Four Tet.
