Jay Z is coming to ACL Fest, and people are freaking out

Jay Z doesn’t pop molly. He rocks Austin City Limits Music Festival.

The festival’s 2017 lineup dropped bright and early Thursday morning, featuring Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chance the Rapper, the Killers and Gorillaz at the top of the bill. Reaction to the roster was mixed on social media, some excited, some doing that whole “This lineup is lame” song and dance. But then, later in the afternoon, a cryptic clue went out:

In the vein of ACL Fest’s lyrical clues from Wednesday, the message could only mean one thing: Jay Z. And soon enough, organizers confirmed that Shawn Carter would indeed descend upon Zilker Park this fall.

People lost their gosh-danged minds.
