‘Captain America: Civil War’ might be Texans’ favorite Marvel movie

Texans like Captain America, but they like him the most when he is battling over the idea of “just trust us to do the right thing” vigilante lawlessness versus a measure of state control over living weapons of mass destruction, which is just one of the most Texas things to ever Texas.

According to the folks at CableTV.com, after running the movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe through Google Trends, “Captain America: Civil War,” aka “Avengers 2.5,” is the state’s most searched for MCU movie, which they also equate with “favorite.”

The most searched for movie? “Iron Man 2,” which makes me think that “most searched for” does NOT equal “favorite” but DOES equal “What happened in that movie,” “Does Sam Rockwell dance in that one? He danced in ‘Charlie’s Angels’ and it was fantastic” and “Did Mickey Rourke really play a shirtless Russian or am I making that up?”
