Ain’t It Cool News is no longer a sponsor of Fantastic Fest

IndieWire reported Thursday that Harry Knowles and his outfit Ain’t It Cool News were no longer involved with this year’s Fantastic Fest and AICN was no longer listed as a fest sponsor.

Fans noticed Wednesday that the site’s logo was no longer on the fest website.

Knowles told IndieWire that “his decision was partly motivated by accusations about his own activity. ‘There was a rumor about me and an ex-girlfriend that felt ugly,’ he said. ‘They’re a complete fabrication and lie.’”
