Here’s why you may not be able to try Blue Bell’s Mardi Gras ice cream

It’s almost February, which can only mean one thing.

No, not Valentine’s Day. I’m talking Mardi Gras, which means I’m talking KING CAKE.

And beloved (albeit embattled) Texas ice cream company Blue Bell has launched a new Mardi Gras King Cake flavor to celebrate the season.

There’s a catch, though: it’s not available in many parts of Texas.

According to the company, it’s mainly available in Louisiana “and a few additional areas in Alabama and Texas.”

And man, ice cream lovers are not happy about it.

The popular flavor isn’t even listed on Blue Bell’s product list on its website. Harsh, Blue Bell. Harsh.

Have you been able to find the flavor in Texas? Let us know where in the comments!
