Fox-owned KTBC is set to launch a pair of weekend morning newscasts next month.

“Good Day Austin Saturday” premieres on Sept. 7, followed by the debut of “Good Day Austin Sunday” on Sept. 8.

Both shows will air from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Scarlett Greyson, a new arrival who most recently worked for Lubbock’s ABC affiliate, will anchor the two newscasts.

Fox 7 is the third Austin broadcast station to air news on weekend mornings. “KXAN News Today” with Erin Cargile runs from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. Saturdays and 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Sundays, while “KVUE News Daybreak” with Ashley Goudeau airs from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. both Saturdays and Sundays.
