Tis the season. NFL playoffs season, that is.
Super Bowl LII is right around the corner and it looks like one of the purveyors of the most popular Super Bowl commercials every year has chosen Central Texas as its location for this year’s ad.
According to social media reports, the Budweiser team, world-famous Clydesdales and all, descended on Elgin yesterday to film the commercial.
There hasn’t been any official confirmation that the shoot was indeed a Budweiser Super Bowl commercial, but a casting website listed a casting call five days ago for “MEN AND WOMEN 25-60 yrs. A diverse range of neighbors living and working together in a tight-knit community” for a Budweiser commercial on Jan. 10 in Elgin.
Guess we’ll have to wait for the big game on Feb. 4 to know for sure.
