Artist, cultural leader and Mexic-Arte Museum co-founder Sam Coronado died Monday.
Coronado, 67, died from complications after a stroke, a family representative said.
In 1993, Coronado created the Serie Print Project, an Austin fine art printmaking facility that helped Latino artists and emerging artists of all ethnic backgrounds.
In 1984, along with artists Sylvia Orozco and Pio Pulido, Coronado started Mexic-Arte Museum.
