In tandem with the current monumental exhibit culled from its equally-monumental Magnum Photo collection, the Ransom Center hosts a free film series, spotlighting the film work of Magnum’s photographers.

The series begins Nov. 3 and continues every Sunday through Nov. 24. Films screenings begin at 2 p.m.

First up is a double-header designed to highlight two of the famous founders of Magnum Photos. The Decisive Moment (1973) is a film narrated by Henri Cartier-Bresson and directed by Cornell Capa.

Robert Capa: I Love and War (2002), written and directed by Anne Makepeace, spotlights the famous Hungarian-born photographer known for his vivid war photography.

The film series is free, but donations are welcome.

Seating is limited and the line forms upon arrival of the first patron. Doors open 30 minutes in advance.
