Leadership changes at Texas Cultural Trust

After nine years at the helm, Amy Barbee is stepping down from the job executive director of the Texas Cultural Trust, a release from the trust announced today.

Barbee is headed to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Foundation where she’ll begin duties as executive director August 5.

Jennifer Ransom Rice, who is currently development director of the trust, will replace Barbee as executive director effective July 15. Rice has been with the trust for three years.

The Texas Cultural Trust is a private non-profit that raises awareness of the importance of the arts. The trust stages the Texas Medal for the Arts Awards, among other programs.
